Treatment Programs
Medical Detox
Medical detoxification at MASE Rehab marks the essential first step of the recovery process. Our Apple Valley campus delivers round-the-clock physician and nursing care within a secure, serene desert environment. We employ medication-assisted treatment as clinically appropriate to alleviate withdrawal symptoms from alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, and stimulants.
A standard detox stay spans 3 to 10 days, determined by the substances involved and each patient's medical complexity. Throughout stabilization, our team continuously monitors vital indicators, adjusts medications as conditions evolve, and provides emotional reassurance to ease the transition. Upon medical clearance, patients move directly into residential or outpatient programming without interruption.
Duration: 3–10 days | Setting: 24/7 medically supervised at our facility

Residential Treatment
Our residential program provides a fully immersive 30- to 90-day treatment experience built around structure, accountability, and genuine human connection. Within our 32-bed Apple Valley campus, each resident follows a purposeful daily schedule that includes one-on-one counseling, evidence-based group therapy, family involvement sessions, and wellness programming that leverages the restorative desert setting.
Treatment plans are developed collaboratively between patient and clinical team. CBT, DBT, motivational enhancement therapy, and 12-Step facilitation anchor the therapeutic core, while outdoor mindfulness walks, fitness conditioning, nutritional guidance, and creative expression programming cultivate physical and emotional strength. This multidimensional approach builds the kind of recovery foundation that sustains patients well beyond discharge.

Outpatient Program
MASE Rehab's outpatient programming includes an Intensive Outpatient Program and a standard Outpatient track, both designed to provide meaningful therapeutic engagement without full-time residential commitment. Sessions are held at our Apple Valley campus multiple evenings per week, utilizing the same evidence-based approaches that define our residential care.
The IOP track comprises 9 to 12 weekly hours of group process, individual counseling, and relapse-prevention skill building. As patients demonstrate sustained stability, they step down to the standard outpatient track at 3 to 6 hours per week. Both pathways include routine toxicology screening, family education programming, and individualized aftercare planning connected to recovery resources throughout the High Desert and San Bernardino County.
Dual Diagnosis
Many individuals seeking addiction treatment are also contending with co-occurring mental health conditions such as major depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, or bipolar disorder. MASE Rehab's dual diagnosis program treats substance use and mental health as interconnected challenges that must be addressed together, because treating one in isolation leaves the other to drive relapse.
Our psychiatric team performs thorough diagnostic assessments and works in close coordination with therapists and counselors to build unified care plans. Patients receive individual psychotherapy, psychiatric medication management when indicated, specialized co-occurring disorder group sessions, and practical coping skills training for managing symptoms after leaving our campus. This integrated strategy gives patients the strongest foundation for sustained recovery and emotional well-being.
