Frequently Asked Questions
How long does addiction treatment last?
Treatment duration varies based on individual needs and the appropriate level of care. Medical detox typically lasts 3 to 10 days. Residential stays range from 30 to 90 days, with clinical extensions available when necessary. Our IOP spans 6 to 12 weeks, and standard outpatient continues as long as it delivers clinical value. Your treatment team conducts regular progress reviews to keep the timeline aligned with your recovery.
What substances do you treat?
Our Apple Valley treatment center treats addiction to alcohol, opioids (including heroin and fentanyl), prescription drugs, cocaine, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, and marijuana.
Do you accept insurance?
MASE Rehab accepts coverage from most major insurance carriers, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana, Magellan, Tricare, Medicare, and Medicaid. Our admissions team verifies your specific plan benefits quickly and explains coverage details, estimated out-of-pocket expenses, and any available payment arrangements before you proceed.
Can family members visit?
Family involvement is integral to our treatment model. Residential patients take part in structured family therapy sessions, have designated visiting periods on weekends, and receive scheduled phone access. Our clinical team also educates family members about the nature of addiction, helps rebuild communication patterns, and prepares the home environment to support long-term recovery.
Is detox medically supervised?
Yes. Our medical detox unit operates with 24/7 physician and nursing oversight. Dr. Nadia Sorokin, our Medical Director, leads a dedicated team of addiction medicine professionals who monitor patients around the clock, administer medication-assisted treatment as needed, and uphold strict safety standards throughout the entire withdrawal and stabilization process.
What is dual diagnosis treatment?
Yes. Our dual diagnosis program is specifically designed for individuals managing both substance use disorders and mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or bipolar disorder. Our psychiatric team conducts thorough evaluations, provides medication management, and collaborates closely with counselors to ensure both conditions receive simultaneous, coordinated treatment for the best possible outcomes.
What happens after treatment?
Aftercare preparation begins from your first day at MASE Rehab. Prior to discharge, your team develops a comprehensive continuing-care plan that may include transition to outpatient services, referrals to sober living environments in the High Desert, ongoing individual therapy, mutual-support group recommendations, and connection to our alumni community. We remain a resource for you long after you leave our Apple Valley campus.
What amenities does your facility offer?
Our campus includes private rooms, a fitness center, yoga studio, meditation garden, swimming pool, recreation room, art therapy room, and family visiting area. Chef-prepared meals are served daily.
How do I start the admissions process?
Call (707) 250-0014 anytime, 24/7. A compassionate admissions coordinator will conduct a brief assessment, verify your insurance, and coordinate your arrival at our Apple Valley facility.
Are pets allowed?
For the safety of all patients, pets are not permitted at our facility. Service animals may be accommodated with advance notice and documentation.
